Instructions
 

  • Cut your cauliflower into evenly-sized florets—aim for pieces about 1.5 inches in size. Consistency is key here; uniform pieces ensure even cooking.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and optional cayenne.
  • Add cauliflower florets to your seasoning mixture and toss until each piece is generously coated. Use your hands to massage the seasoning into every nook and cranny of the cauliflower.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for 3 minutes.
  • Place the seasoned cauliflower in your air fryer basket, ensuring pieces aren't overcrowded. Depending on your air fryer size, you may need to work in batches.
  • Air fry at 380°F for 12-15 minutes, pausing to shake the basket halfway through cooking. The cauliflower is done when the edges have a visible caramelization and a gentle poke with a fork meets minimal resistance.

Notes

For extra crispiness, pat the cauliflower completely dry before seasoning and add 1 tablespoon of cornstarch to your spice mixture.
