Equipment

  • 9x13-inch Baking Dish
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Meat thermometer

Ingredients

Chicken

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts approximately 2 pounds
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Million Dollar Topping

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 8 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 2 tbsp ranch seasoning
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes optional, for heat

Garnish

  • 2 tbsp fresh chives or green onions chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or olive oil.
  • Place chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Rub the seasonings in for even distribution.
  • In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, half of both cheeses, half of the crumbled bacon, ranch seasoning, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes if using. Mix until well combined.
  • Generously spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over each chicken breast.
  • Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and cheddar cheese over the cream cheese layer, then top with the remaining bacon crumbles.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the cheese is bubbly and slightly golden.
  • Optional: Switch the oven to broil for the final 2 minutes for a more golden top, watching carefully to prevent burning.
  • Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes. Sprinkle with fresh chives or green onions before serving.

Notes

For a lighter version, consider using reduced-fat cream cheese, turkey bacon instead of regular bacon, or adding vegetables to the cream cheese mixture. This dish pairs well with steamed vegetables, mixed green salad, or cauliflower rice for a low-carb meal.
