- 4 oz Fresh grapefruit soda or grapefruit juice topped with soda water
- 1/2 oz Fresh lime juice
- 1/2 tsp Agave syrup or simple syrup optional, adjust to taste
- 1 pinch Salt preferably flaky sea salt
- Ice cubes
- 1 Grapefruit wedge and/or lime wheel for garnish
- Salt for rimming optional
If desired, rim your glass with salt by rubbing a lime or grapefruit wedge around the rim and dipping it into a small plate of salt. Fill the glass with ice cubes.
Pour 2 oz of quality blanco tequila over the ice.
Add the fresh lime juice and optional sweetener to the glass.
Pour in your grapefruit soda or the combination of grapefruit juice and club soda.
Add a pinch of salt directly to the drink. Gently stir to combine all ingredients without losing carbonation.
Garnish with a grapefruit wedge or lime wheel and serve immediately.
For the best flavor, use freshly squeezed grapefruit and lime juices. The Paloma is best enjoyed immediately after preparation to preserve its effervescence and bright flavors.
Did you know that the Paloma Cocktail has surpassed the Margarita as Mexico's most beloved tequila drink? Its perfect balance of tart, sweet, and effervescent flavors makes it a crowd favorite.
