Equipment

  • Blender
  • Fine-mesh Sieve
  • Pitcher

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh raspberries frozen works too, just thaw slightly
  • 4-5 fresh limes juiced (approximately ½ cup lime juice)
  • 3 tablespoons honey or maple syrup adjust to taste
  • 2 cups sparkling water or club soda
  • ice cubes for serving
  • fresh mint leaves for garnish
  • lime slices and whole raspberries for garnish

Instructions

  • Place the fresh raspberries in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Strain the puree through a fine-mesh sieve, pressing with a spoon to extract all the juice.
  • In a pitcher, combine the raspberry puree with freshly squeezed lime juice and your chosen sweetener. Stir thoroughly until the sweetener dissolves completely.
  • Just before serving, add the sparkling water and gently stir to maintain the carbonation.
  • Fill glasses with ice cubes, pour the raspberry limeade mixture over the ice, and garnish with fresh mint leaves, lime slices, and whole raspberries.

Notes

For a lower-sugar version, replace honey with monk fruit sweetener or stevia. Roll your limes firmly on the countertop before juicing to yield more juice. Chill all ingredients beforehand to maintain the fizz longer and enhance the refreshing quality.
Store the raspberry-lime base (without sparkling water) in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Add carbonated water only when ready to serve.
