Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Glass Serving Dish

Ingredients

  • 1 cup non-fat Greek yogurt substitute with coconut yogurt for dairy-free version
  • 8 oz light cream cheese softened (Neufchâtel cheese works as a lower-fat alternative)
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix use a low-sodium version if watching salt intake
  • 1 cup finely chopped fresh vegetables bell peppers, cucumber, and carrots create a vibrant rainbow effect
  • 1/2 cup green onions thinly sliced
  • 1 cup reduced-fat shredded cheddar cheese or nutritional yeast for a vegan option
  • 10 slices turkey bacon cooked crisp and crumbled (or smoked paprika for a vegetarian alternative)
  • Fresh dill for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, blend the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Add the Greek yogurt and ranch seasoning, whisking until perfectly incorporated with no lumps.
  • Gently fold in half of your colorful chopped vegetables and green onions.
  • Spread your creamy mixture into a clear serving dish (preferably glass to showcase the beautiful layers). A pie dish or 8x8 square dish works perfectly.
  • Sprinkle the remaining vegetables, crumbled turkey bacon, and shredded cheese evenly over the top. For maximum visual appeal, arrange toppings in sections rather than mixing them all together.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, allowing the flavors to meld together.
  • Garnish with fresh dill if desired before serving.
