Equipment

  • Large Glass Pitcher

Ingredients

Base Ingredients

  • 1 bottle dry white wine 750ml, Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc recommended
  • 1/4 cup white rum optional
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice approximately 2-3 limes
  • 2 tbsp honey or agave nectar adjust to taste
  • 1 cup sparkling water or club soda

Fruits

  • 2 cups fresh pineapple chunks
  • 1 ripe mango diced
  • 1 star fruit sliced
  • 1 kiwi peeled and sliced

For Serving

  • ice cubes
  • fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  • Wash all fruits thoroughly under cold running water. Cut the pineapple into 1-inch chunks, dice the mango into similar-sized pieces, and slice the star fruit and kiwi into attractive shapes.
  • In a large glass pitcher, pour in the bottle of white wine. Add the honey or agave nectar and stir until completely dissolved.
  • Gently add the prepared fruits to the wine mixture. Pour in the fresh lime juice.
  • If using rum, add it now.
  • Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, ideally 4-6 hours. For the richest flavor development, prepare the day before serving and let it infuse overnight.
  • Just before serving, add the sparkling water or club soda and stir gently.
  • Pour the White Tropical Sangria into ice-filled glasses. Include some of the infused fruit in each glass and garnish with fresh mint leaves.

Notes

For maximum enjoyment, serve at 45-50°F (7-10°C). Without sparkling water added, the sangria will keep well for up to 3 days in the refrigerator. Once sparkling water is added, consume within 24 hours for best taste.
For an alcohol-free version, substitute the white wine with white grape juice and omit the rum.
